Is there a way to identify or track the exact date when a Shipment was set to COMPLETED?

We’re aware that this information can be found refering to the Background Jobs Complete Shipment task if the action was performed recently.

However, since background job records are retained only for a limited period, we’re looking for an alternative method to retrieve the completion date for shipments completed beyond the background job history timeframe.
