I have an inventory part that someone in one of our sites undid a scrap after serialization was turned on at receipt and issue. Now this part is stuck (qty 2) due to being unable to scrap or to create a serial number to assign to the parts. Please advise.

steps to replicate:


1) scrap all parts in inventory for specific part no
2) turn on serialization for issue and receipt (not inventory tracking)
3) undo scrap transaction

I tried to replicate your issue with the suggested steps, however, the system is not allowing me to Undo Scrap Inventory Part. 

Please refer to the screenshots below.

  1. Enabled Serial Tracking at Receipt and Issue after scrapping the Inventory Part.
  1. Tried to Undo Scrap Inventory Part, however, I encountered an error.

Hi ​@Hashane Bolonne , This has been corrected in APP10UPD24 via Bug ID 167937. You can refer knowledge article KB0050888 as well. As mentioned by ​@Abdul , an error has been introduced to restrict of the Undo scrap operation. I believe the environment you tried is below UPD24. Hope this helps.
