SODIFF transaction trigger at no Close SO

Hi Everyone, I reactivate this conversation, as i’ve a scenario where a SODIFF event has been triggered even before closing process of a SO.
In my configuration,
1. Part Manufactured is a Weighted Average valuation method

  1. Unit part cost is 0 €
  1. Labor Time has been reported for a total of 2384.90€

 

  1. No Material has been issued to SO
  1. Shop Order History is 


And SODIFF has been triggered the 27/06/2025 at 10:15 for the total amount of Labor Cost reported

It seems SODIFF has been triggered when changing the SO status from Reserved to Release
 

Will you be able to explain me the Why of IFS trigger a SODIFF in that case ?
Also does someone will be able to explain the notes “Rounding Problem” ?
.

Hi ​@EricGrimbert,

   I think you can get more replies if you post this in Products (Manufacturing, Products, Engineering) forum. My view is that - Yes,  SODIFF can trigger when Labor/machine reported with cost vs zero standard.It can trigger because standard costing requires WIP to be cleared against a standard that was zero while actual activity put real cost into WIP.
