I have a problem with the shop order schedule on the differents workcenters.
The system doesn’t schedule the shops orders regarding the capacity of the workcenter … (all the manufacturing orders are at the same time and i have a overload on the workcenter)
I thank that the shop order were automaticaly schedule depends on the different capacity of the workcenter
We just starting on IFS so we don’t use APB
Capacity Requirement Planning is infinite scheduler irrespective of whether it is defined as finite or infinite capacity against the work center. This parameter is used in the APB & CBS as these are finite schedulers. Hence you can see your work centers are overloaded. The infinite scheduler can handle multiple shop orders, but it always treats each shop order as if it is the only one in the system, with the constraints on resources and capacity.
CRP overloads are clear indications that you cannot accomplish the job in the defined time line, hence you need to either reschedule your order or increase the capacity of work centre by overtime or add new resources to work center.
