We some parts that have been set with Serial Tracking in error.  I’m trying to clear the flags but am getting an error that “The part exists in the part serial catalogue”. 

 

What can we do to clear the Serial Tracking on these parts?  

 

Once transactions have occurred for a serial tracked parts there is nothing you can do to reverse this.  Your best option is to clone the part, uncheck all of the serial tracking boxes.  Replace the consumed component where necessary.

You do not need to create a new part, you can uncheck the flags if there are no parts in stock. This does not change the history.
