This setting works for Shop Order Material issuance/reservation only. This would not work for Customer Order reservation.

I don’t think if there is any setting to specify a location for Customer Order for reservation.

Thank you for your reply. Would I be able to use a custom event to specify the location to reserve from in a Customer Order? I don’t expect to be instructed how to do this, I would just like to know what table I should set the event on.

​@jdoherty Automatic Reservation will consider the Priorities you have setup at Site level.Thus I wouldn’t agree with you when you say it’s always reserving from the location of the last reservation. My bet is that in the same location you have received more qty with a PO Receipt and probably that the lot_batch with the earliest receipt date.

Because I want the stock to always be reserved from the Inventory Part’s Default location when it is being reserved on a Customer Order. We have Warehouse locations set up in IFS for a lot of Inventory Parts and sometimes on Customer Orders these parts are being reserved from the Warehouse Location. I don’t want that happening, it must always be the Inventory Part’s Default location it must be reserved from on a Customer Order.

You could define such a Part Availability Control

Then you can assign this Availability Control to your bins/bays/tiers/warehouses.
