Using IFS9.
Lot batch was received on a customer-owned Purchase Order line that was missing the activity/project connection. This lot batch is reflected in Inventory Part In Stock without the project connection. We need to make an activity/project connection on the customer order, and we cannot make the reservation because the customer order line has the project association but the lot batch does not.
When trying to move the inventory tag to the project, the system tries to amend the customer owner to 1, rather than the actual customer who owns the part. Here’s what we have tried so far to resolve this:
- Reopen PO line and connect activity. Activity connection is greyed out… unable to action.
- Transfer lot batch to project inventory from Inventory Part In Stock. This action tries to amend the owning customer to 1 rather than the actual customer owning the stock.
- Reserve lot batch without activity connection on customer order. This allowed the reservation, but won’t allow the release.
