Hi All

I have a situation where a POCO revision 0 was created automatically when trying to cancel [through a DR script] the original PO. So far I couldn't recreate it.

What I wanted to check through the forum is that, have you encountered this before? With regards to the automatic POCO setup,

1. Site - Enforce POCO is not on
2. Supplier - Use the site setting

Hence in my opinion, a POCO revision shouldn't be automatically created. What do you think?

We are running IFS 24.1.9

Thanks,
Asela

Hi @Asela Munasinghe ,

Yes, revisions are created automatically by the application regardless of the POCO settings if the PO has been shared.

Try this to recreate in core:

  1. Create a PO
  2. Release PO
  3. Share PO (i.e. Print a Copy)
  4. Cancel PO
  5. Observe toast message indicating that a new revision will be created
  6. PO header will have a badge indicating that changes are pending unless you Share the PO once again.

Thanks @astfarazt, that does make sense. If the PO was shared only, it will create a revision because the supplier needs to know wvia share] about the cancellation. For an unshared PO, it directly goes to the cancelled state.
