Hi.

Does anyone have an explanation of what effect the ‘Refresh Rate’ button/setting has on the Smart Manufacturing Planning Board? I’m using 24R2.

Thank you.

Adrian.

...or putting it another way… Has anyone noticed any effect with different Refresh Rate settings?

Thank you,

Adrian.

Hi @acdickson,

This controls how frequently the system updates the displayed data in the Gantt chart. The Refresh Rate determines the interval at which the SMPB fetches new data from the backend system and updates the visual representation of operations and resources. A shorter refresh interval means more frequent updates, providing real-time visibility into any changes made.

Hi @Yathartha Karunananda

Thank you for your reply and that is my understanding too. However, no matter what setting I try, there is no (automated) change to what is displayed on screen - unless I manually refresh the screen.

Hi @acdickson,

Can you provide a specific instance where it did not work as expected?

Hi @Yathartha Karunananda,

Sure, a (Planned) Shop Order with its first operation currently scheduled to start at the time MSO last ran (15:20)...

...then MSO runs again (Background Jobs all complete) and the first Shop Order Operation has been rescheduled to 15:24…

...but there is no change on the Gantt (with a Refresh Rate of 10 seconds)…

...until the screen is refreshed manually…

Hi @acdickson,

There seems to be an issue. It was the same in 24R2 as well. Please send a ticket to Unified Support.
