There is a field MSO Scheduling Information available in Shop Order Operations window? Does this field capture values in IFS 24R2 version also. I was unable to see any data getting fetched.

While I could see that the field was capturing data in version of IFS 25R2.

Also, in IFS 24R2 version - Finite Scheduling Basic Data screen, I could not see the field “Generate Scheduling Information”. From which version is this field made available?

    Hi,

    Yes, the column introduced in 24R2 is intended to highlight unexpected scheduling changes.

    For example, if a resource suddenly becomes unavailable due to planned maintenance, previously firm-planned (Released) shop order operations may need to be rescheduled. In such cases, this column will display an informational message such as "Released Shop Order Has Been Rescheduled" or a similar notification to indicate that the schedule has changed.

    MSO Scheduling Information is a newer enhancement introduced to provide additional scheduling details given by the PSO scheduling engine, making it easier to identify and understand schedule changes.

    ​@Lakshan Thiranagama , thanks for responding to my query. I am unable to get any info into this field even though I am using MSO for scheduling the operations. So far there are more than 1000 Shop orders processed with changes in their Start/ Finish dates, statuses etc. using MSO. But none of the operation rows are updated with any information. What could be the reason?

    Coming back to my earlier query on the flag “Generate Scheduling Information”, this is not available in the Finite Scheduling Basic data screen. Could you plz confirm whether it is available in 24R2 or not?

    Also, whether this flag is causing the issue for not getting updated with any issue in the MSO Scheduling Information field.

    Hi Manjunath, Again, The "Generate Scheduling Information" option (Planner Support) is not available in 24R2. But MSO Scheduling Information coloumn was there just to show unexpected scheduling changes since 23R2 or 24R1.

    This ‘Planner Support’ functionality was introduced in 25R1. Please refer 25R1 News presentation to verify this information. 
     

    In 24R2 version that you are testing, the initial scheduling action does not provide any scheduling information. However, once the shop orders have been processed and finitely scheduled by MSO, scheduling details will become available after next scheduling actions if it gets any unexpected schedule changes for firm planned operations.
