I’m looking to move around 100 parts from one storage location to a ‘shipping’ location for loading onto a Transport Order.  I can only see how to do this one line at a time using ‘move inventory part’.

Is there a quicker way to move these parts?  Using IFS10 PROD - IFS Applications

Thanks

@bthomson82 you mean to a Location Type = Shipment right?

Normally you could use a Transport Task for bulk move like this, but Transport Task dosen’t work for above location type

Maybe You can try the Putaway functionality. You need to do the setup before try this.

Hi @bthomson82 , I think @AanHGTS ‘s suggestion makes sense.

Hi @AanHGTS, just a question for my understanding,  you mean performing putaway without a Transport Task? To do so,  @bthomson82 needs to have ‘Storage Zones’ defined under each of the 100 parts. Also they need to have the Shipment Location specified within that Storage Zone right?

I was unfamiliar with the Transport Task function but was able to use it to get the parts to the shipping location to load onto my Transport order, thanks.
