Inventory Part in Stock shows wrong Reserved Qty

I guess this could be a potential system error since ideally, there should be objects such as a customer order connected to the reserved qty, as per the intended system behavior. Kindly raise a support case for an in-depth analysis to determine the resolution path.

Hi,

It could potentially be related to a recent defect that has been corrected. I think the defect was related to when you used handling units and in the same inventory location you had partly reserved a handling unit and also fully reserved another handling unit for the same order line. When picking this the problem occurred.

The problem was related to a new feature to aggregate inventory transactions for serials and handling units for performance reasons. The work around before getting the correction is to turn off this aggregation in the page for parameters for supply chain and manufacturing (currently no access to any environment so I am not sure about the exact name of the page). There is a toggle where the aggregation at picking can be disabled.

When the correction is in place the aggregation can be enabled again as it improves performance if you are heavily using serials / handling units.
