Interfacing with Transport Management System (TMS)
We have had a generic Freight Booking interface in IFS Cloud Shipments for approx a year now.
A generic approach in IFS Cloud as starting point for this integration, which is one of the most common at our customers, have been asked for for long time.
We know that it’s in use by customter Live on IFS Cloud. We have received input and validations.
Would be great to hear more from customers in the Community on this topic.

Hi Örjan,
we are about to integration with TMS now. Did you get any more information in past 2 years? Any nice suggestion, to which object we can connect a transportation? Shipment order and Distribution order are useles if you need to solve a transport within the same site. From supplier into your factory; from factory to Cross-dock and from there to a customer cross dock and to supplier final location (or at least to their distribution center). Would be great if you have any further experience or suggestion. So far, we are going to create a new object - transportation.
