In the Incoming Dispatch Advice page there are tabs regarding handling units, however there does not appear to be any options to create the handling units.
Is this only possible when creating via connectivity? If so, how is that achieved?

Incoming Dispach Advise display detail of the received HU structure. Using Customer Oder shipment functionality deliver your items with HU structure. Then You can retrive HU structure with your incoming dispatch advise.

Not sure what you want to achieve, do you get the information via mail or some other channel and want to enter it manually in the incoming dispatch advice? As Piyal writes the incoming dispatch advice reflects the information sent from the sender. For now there is no possibility to create handling units with content manually in the Incoming Dispatch Advice. This could be an interesting future feature?
For now there are some features in the Receive dialogue from the incoming dispatch advice lines to create handling units. Besides you can receive the material into the arrival location and handle the packing there.

Yes, the hope was to manually enter it in dispatch advice. The dispatch advice itself is being raised manually, so not via connectivity. The goods are usually packaged into pallets and I had hoped to be able to connect the IDA to handling units as we receive info from the supplier (at shipment).
It would be beneficial, as the product is received to arrival on the Incoming Dispatch Advice and then moved to stock later, often without being broken from its pallet. We can use the IDA No / receipt reference to perform the move into stock as a single entity (select all lines associated with that receipt).
From here there is a further movement to a put-away area (move inventory part / transport task will perform this), however at this point the goods are inventory and independent of the original incoming dispatch advice. I had hoped that by adding to a handling unit it would allow it to be moved as a single entity until it reaches the put-away area and is individually located.
Looking at the options during receipt dialogue and whilst in arrival may achieve what we want. I will take a look.
