Hi all,

 

I have an error massage on Sales Quotation page. The custom error massage was created for managing changed status, only an employee can change the status. 

How to edit the error massage content?

Hi @Ozge 
you can try to change it in translations.
In TEXT translation window , you can set a different message as a translation text for particular error message.
ex:

you can search by using the ‘prog text’ field
Put full error text or part of it into prog text’ field in search option.
ex: 
when I releasing a service quotation it gives the below error. I want to change the error text

 

So I can search part of the error text in Text translation window as below.
 

 

Then you can change the error text as you wish 

 

Please try these steps.

If you can give the exact error, then I can show the exact text translation entry.

Please remember, you need to refresh the dictionary cache and restart the application after changing this.

Do you mean, what are the conditions to trigger the error message?

If so, actually you can’t see it through the application and need to check the back end code to check the exact conditions. But probably it may be explained in the help/functional documentation.

Otherwise, please raise a support ticket, then IFS Support will give the exact answer.
