Dates do not update on manually pegged customer orders

We are manually pegging customer orders to purchase orders.  When we update the “promised date” on the purchase order, none of the dates on the customer order are updating.  

 

We are using Apps 10.

Hi,

From my experience, the manual pegging can be seen as a firm reservation. It does not link the data from customer order / PO in that way. 

In a similar process “if” we set the customer order line supply code to be for example purchase direct (or purchase transit) the customer order actually creates a PO and those records are connected. In this case, the dates would / could be synchronized.  Manual pegging does not create the same type of data connection.
