Good morning everybody,

Does somebody has a function description of the field “Handling Unit at CO Delivery” in page “Customer-Sales-Sales” and which is the related parameter in page “Site”?

Thank you for feedback.

Best regards,

Rolf

This is only relevant when you deliver customer order without shipment. It decides if you like to keep the handling unit as it is reserved and picked in inventory at delivery or if you would like to unattach the material from the handling unit at delivery. You can choose to use the default value defined on the site or have a unique value for the specific customer.

The idea is that when you use Customer Order without shipment there is no place to visualize and re-pack what you deliver so for many the handling unit makes no sense while it might mean something to others. You have the flexibility to choose behavior. When using shipment the handling unit you deliver will always be as defined in the Shipment Handling Unit Structure page.
