Certain users do not get customer order status turned into invoiced /closed even there are no stops in the order type. This happens when create customer invoice performed in service contracts which also create the customer order .
The users where the function works has almost similar permissions .Is there any setup that we need to check please for these users.

Please enable Online Processing option for SEO Order type and then check with users having problems.
With current setup there are chances background job might be getting failed due to some reasons.

Thanks a lot Abdul for your advice.
When I tried from my user there were no issues even though the online processing was disabled. .Anyways I will check if there is any indication in background jobs when that particular user gets stuck in the flow.
