Dear community,

when customer order lines are entered, the customer looks to supply the items by analyzing availability at all the company's sites, but also at other companies in the group, in order to respect the customer's wanted delivery date in the 1st place (whatever the source), and the 2nd criterion is distance.

Have you dealt with this type of case?

We haven't succeeded in using the sourcing rules.

Have you used this method or another, with what parameters?

Combined with Source Order Lines manually/automatically?

Any help or documentation on these subjects would be most welcome!

Thanks

Regards,

Isabelle

Hi @IsabelleR,

I hope that you are aware with ‘Availability Check’ functionality. So, 2nd criteria - i.e distance - There are customer order delivery related lead times. External Transport Lead Time, Internal Transport Lead Time, Internal Inspection Lead Time, and Picking Lead Time. Can’t we think about one of these setting to match the distance?

Piyal

Hi @Piyal Perera,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I continued my tests and it seems that we can make some checks by ordering the criteria.

It seems that in order to check stock quantities, you only need to have stock on sites related to the order entry site (but from the same company) (and not on the order entry site).

And there doesn't seem to be any possibility of checking stock at sites not attached to the same company from the order entry site.

Does that seem correct?

Isabelle

Hi @IsabelleR,

We can build a Supply Chain relation using Supply Chain Matrix functionality. Please give try.
