Question

Customer Order delivery via 3PL, Picked qty is twice the sales qty for some lines in an order.

Problem: picklist created with twice sales qty  some customer order line which fail the delivery process and order remain stuck at ‘reserved’

Customer Order - after incoming delivery message from 3PL shipment is created, pick list is created but message fails due to ‘’
‘[{"code":20110,"message":"ORA-20110: DeliverCustomerOrder.QTYTODELGTASSQTY: Quantity to deliver is greater than the assigned quantity."}]}}’

Since the process is via IFSCONNECT, manual reservation/pick is ruled out.

if order of sequence is delivery incoming message-->shipment header->shipment line with qty->pick list creation.

What triggers qty_shipdiff = 1 before shipment line qty calculation  (or subsequent step of pick list creation) as qty_shipdiff is derived by :  new_qty_picked_ - line_rec_.revised_qty_due
where
revised_qty_due_ :=
      rec_.revised_qty_due
    - rec_.qty_shipped
    - rec_.open_shipment_qty
    + rec_.qty_shipdiff;

looks like circular relation, cannot figure when is qty_shipdiff popluated ???
Incoming application message which failed, shows delivered qty = 1

Shipment line looks like this:

Order line history says sales qty of 1 was added to shipment
