Please check whether Multi-Level Tracking is enabled for this part. If it is enabled, the system will enforce that a valid Lot/Batch number must be provided when consuming or handling this part, even when processing consignment stock.

when there are lots, serials etc involved, the consumption should happen in the detail level. There must be a collapsed detail section in the bottom of the screen if you can find it. 

When the part is lot tracked, system must know which lot/batch you are consuming. 

However, pls check your ‘Aggregate Reporting Allowed’ parameter. I suspect this is turned off in your part line, which is why a detail level lot needs to be selected. If you are okay to consume from any lot, you can decide to turn the parameter on. This can be changed in ‘Customer Consignment Stock’ window. Make sure to do it for the correct combination of part, address, customer, site.
