I’m trying to determine how the CO Plannable Qty is calculated. I understand how the Plannable Qty is calculated; however, when I use the same logic using the Expected Lead time, I don’t get the numbers the system is getting.
For example, in the screen shot, why is the CO Plannable Qty 2510 and not 2494?

Hello,
CO Plannable is used for the Availability Check, used from customer order, here Shop Order Component demand in status Planned are not considered “firm enough” when it comes to date and quantity. So they are ignored. These days, in later version of IFS Cloud, you can configure to include/exclude some of the open SUPPLIES that Availability Check logic is using. To my knowledge we cannot do it for demands.
Hope this helps you to some extent at least.
Cheers,
Mats
This information was very helpful as I now understand that the planned status of the demand is not “firm enough” to be included in the calculation.
We are using IFS Cloud. So, regarding open SUPPLIES, do you know where I would check the configurations for what is included/excluded for the Availability Check logic. I haves some other examples of CO Plannable Qty where I don’t understand the math, and I suspect these configurations might explain what I’m seeing.
In the site page you have this. Please note that under Manufacturing you also have some configurations for Available to Promise
