Hi All,

 

We have two customer order lines with the same priority 

 

Order No Order Date Planned Shipped Date
1 2022/04/01 2022/05/01
2 2022/04/02 2022/04/20

 

Then I ran the automatic reservation and found system considers the Order Date in deciding the reservation priority but not the Planned Ship Date .

 

Is my understanding correct ?. What is the business logic current design ?

Hi @VanChampS ,

CO automated reservations is done using few parameters. But when comparing the dates, application gives the prioritization to the Plan Due Date in the CO Line level. And Also it considers the Backorder Option available for that particular CO (Delivery Information tab). Default value for this is taking from the Customer master data.

Hi,

If you are referring to the order priority for reservation in ‘Create Customer Order Reservations’ batch job, you are right, system handles initially the orders in a list ordered by Order Date.
