Hi,

I have been trying to run automatic order processing with coordinator A (In coordinator group A with PO prefix defined as A) and to create a purchase order manually using a different coordinator (In coordinator group B with PO prefix defined as B).

In both cases, I am getting the same PO prefix and there what I can see is, when we do the automatic order processing job, it does not consider the defined order prefix values for the coordinator groups? Is this correct ?

Thanks and Best Regards

Tharanga

Hi @Tharanga Lakmali,

No, your conclusion is not correct. IFS Cloud does consider the defined Purchase Order prefix from the coordinator group during Automatic Order Processing.

Please verify the following steps:

  • Open the Purchase Order created by the automatic job and check the Coordinator field on the header:
    • If it shows Coordinator B, the job ran using Coordinator B (check your Sites per User default coordinator or the Scheduled Task parameters).
    • If it shows Coordinator A, check the Order Coordinator Groups window to verify the prefix configured for Coordinator A's group.
  • Check your Purchase Order Processing Types: verify if Online Processing is checked. If it is checked, the PO was created at the moment of PR release using the logged-in user's default coordinator.
