Is it possible to Auto Generate Procurement Clause on PR/PO header or lines or do they have to be generated manually?

Hi @Fgray09

In IFS, you can use the generate option to automatically connect procurement clause phrases to purchase requisition or purchase order lines if you have pre-define the procurement clause.  This works based on pre-defined phrase connection rules that match parameters like Site, Part,

Please Refer this for more details:  IFS Cloud Documentation

Also you can set manually  by  creating a Procurement Clause.

Dulani.

I understand you use the ‘Generate’ option - my question is, can you have the ‘Procurement Clause’ auto generated on the PR line for example - rather than the user requiring to select the the option to ‘Generate’

Hi @Fgray09,

As far as I know, you have to manually click the Generate option to apply procurement clauses to PR or PO lines

Hi @Fgray09,

Agreed with the clarification given by Dulani. In IFS Cloud, Procurement Clauses are not automatically generated on PR or PO headers or lines through standard configuration and therefore require user action. Even though clauses are determined based on the Supplier, Purchase Agreement, and clause setup as described in IFS Cloud documentation the user must still manually choose the “Generate” option to create the clause text. This is an intentional design decision to ensure buyers deliberately apply contractual and legally binding terms, helping to prevent unintended legal obligations and to maintain proper control and governance over procurement conditions.
