HI,

I’m currently experiencing an issue when trying to complete a Request Work Task via MWO (Report In).

Although the clocking out data is successfully passed to IFS Cloud, the task remains visible under “Work Start” in the MWO mobile app and Work Assignment.

Each time I attempt to close the task, details such as the survey, description, and debrief are correctly transmitted to IFS Cloud.  However, the task stays open and reappears every time I reopen the app and sync.

The failed transaction returns the following error:

“Not allowed to change the status when the Work Assignment is downloaded to a mobile device. - ORA-20110: JtExecutionInstance.NOSTATUSCHGALLOWSTATUSLOCKED: Not allowed to change the status when the Work Assignment is downloaded to a mobile device.”

 

Could you please advise how I can resolve or manage this issue?

Looks like for some reason status changes haven’t been allowed so in the server, work assignment hasn’t got completed. So the task reappears in MWO when re-initialized. I have no clue about the failed transaction though.

Do you see the same issue for all tasks assigned to the user or just specific to a one task?

Can you share the steps followed in details?

Hello, sure.

Issue occurs for different types of service catalogs/standard tasks and with different users.

 

Steps:

1.Creation of a request and a request work task with multiple demand lines.
2.Allocation via PSO
3.Assignment of what proposed by the PSO
4.Transfer to Mobile only for the task leader.

Mobile execution:
1.On Route
2.Work Start
3.Survey compilation, Measurement detection, 
4.Report In
5.Keep Tasks: yes
6.Return Travel: no


The statuses are aligned up to Work Started.
All information is sent correctly. 
Clock Out by Work Assignment is present and the date is the first time I closed the task from the mobile, with a failed transaction.
The Complete status is not passed to the Work Assignment

Every time I try to re-execute the task, it errors from MWO, and I get this failed transaction.:

“Not allowed to change the status when the Work Assignment is downloaded to a mobile device. - ORA-20110: JtExecutionInstance.NOSTATUSCHGALLOWSTATUSLOCKED: Not allowed to change the status when the Work Assignment is downloaded to a mobile device”

 

 


It’s bit hard to trace the problem here. So i suggest you to raise a support ticket to do further investigations by the support team.

we have the same error message and cant set an assignment to Work Done.

Is there any update on this case that could help us with our problem as well?

Hi Christian,

Do you currently have an active workflow configuration (mobile)? We’re only encountering this issue when a workflow configuration (mobile) is active.

yes, we have multiple workflows for the Configuration Type “Request Task”. Sub Types Standard and Bundle Task.

Hi Chris,

I’ve encountered this issue only when I have more than one assignment, but just one gets sent to mobile. To resolve it, I set enable=yes  in the workflow “allow accept”, and now it’s working. I’m not sure if this is the expected behaviour.

We have Allow Accept enabled for all Workflows already.

Will check in more details, when exactly this happens.
