Is it possible to manage this kind of rental from MWO Service App ?
I cannot find these actions on the work assignment pushed to the mobile device.
If this functionality is not available on MWO app, is it part of the roadmap to add it ?

Afraid this functionality is not available in mobile client and not something to be expected in the nearest future.

Since the part is remaining Issued, we could start the rental even after the rental has been ended.. which seems a bit strange..
