I recently replaced my mobile device and need to set up MFA on the new one. It still works fine on my old device, where I can use MFA.

I've installed the Microsoft Authenticator app on the new device, but I'm unsure how to get the QR code (see attachment).

kind regards,

Bjarki

I am facing the same issue after changing the mobile device. Hoping to get some assistance on this.

How to setup the MFA in the new device?

Can try following steps?

  1. Go to your Microsoft account's security info page: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
  2. Ensure that IFS is selected as your organization (you can verify this in the top-right corner of the page).
  3. Under Security info, click on Add sign-in method and choose Authenticator app from the dropdown.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
