We want to implement OIDC following the International Protocol. Does FSM support the providers which is compliant with International standard ?

If the supported Identity Providers are compliant with the International Standard for OIDC, then FSM is compliant as well.

OIDC requires the use of an Identity Provider. FSM supports three specific identity providers:

  • Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
  • Active Directory Federated Services (AD FS)
  • Keycloak (as of FSM6U9)

These are the only three identity providers supported to communicate directly with FSM. You must choose one of these identify providers (you cannot use multiple in the same FSM installation). Work with your IT department to determine the appropriate identity provider for your organization. Then follow the procedure outlined in the OIDCImplementation.pdf document for the specific identity provider your organization has selected.

Installation and basic setup of the identity provider is the customer’s responsibility.
Support for additional Identity Providers would involve Federating that Identity Provider with one of the providers listed above. If you require assistance, you need to contact the identity provider as that piece is not supported by IFS.
