Is it possible to connect a survey to either a serial object or a service object? If so, could someone show how?

You can link Maintenance Surveys to Objects, and answer them in mWO ad-hoc.

To do that, you need two things;

  1. A survey with Workflow Type = Object Information (don’t forget to Publish)
  2. You need a Workflow Configuration with Configuration Type = Object

    You need to link the Maintenance Survey in the EFORMS tab.

When I try to create the survey I get this box. How can that be?

Looks very odd. Is your user linked to a person record?

Check in Application Base Setup / Enterprise / Person / Person

Which version of IFS Cloud is this?

Thank you for both of the answers. It was very helpful.
Could you show how the workflow would look like from the Tech Portals?
