Hi,

In general, if you have a serial object which is being used, it will have the operation status = In Operation, Operational condition = Operational.

Then if you return the same serial to inventory from the work order,

Operation status = Out of Operation, Operational condition = Operational

To get back the operation status of the object to “In operation”:

• First, issue the serial part from inventory. This can be done using the Work order materials tab.
• Then, in the report in work order form, you have RMB option “Place serial in equipment structure ”.
• Here under “Serial to place” enter the issued serial part number and serial number, click ok.
• Now the serial part in installed in the structure and it’s “In operation”
