FSM Mobile app not initializing

Hello Everyone,

All of a sudden, FSM Mobile test  app is not initializing 

Able to access the URL download the apk file and after entering username and password 

it logs in but never completes the initialization process

It is  also creating zip file in mobiledb folder,But after that its not completing the initialization process

In FSM, the initialization process  has several stages.  The issue can be there in any of above stages and hence providing a solution with above information may be difficult.
May be the users behavior can decide the root cause as well .
Also the time taken to initialize can depend on sync rule configs , server specifications etc.

  • As a general practice , do not run the initialization in the background or close the app till you observe the home screen.
  • Also , you can check the  “Mobile Error Log”-Screen in Smart Client for any logged exceptions during the time the mentioned user tried to initialize.

As this can be happened due to  many reasons , better if you can open a support case if you could not find any anomalies in “Mobile Error Log”
