In IFS 10 EE is there a better way to control updates to the Failure Analysis codes? For example I can tell that in the basic data the option to invalidate or block has been added to many of the basic data codes, but when they are marked blocked they do not stop showing up for the end user because they are already in the failure analysis set up navigator. Are we missing something that can help control that?

Hi Courtney,

It looks like the basic data Blocked for Use will only work for trying to add to new work. So if you have a new failure analysis you are setting up you will not be able to choose any of the fields that are blocked for use. However the times it was used in the passed will still show up for users unless you remove it from your options in the failure analysis navigator.
