Creating new work from mobile when Assignments are not available in my work

Hi,

 

We have a scenario where, the mobile users will have to create new work from mobile, when assignments are not available in my work list. In Apps 10 MWO , there was a separate tile called New Work, so from there it was possible to create new work irrespective of the existence on work assignments in mobile.

Do you know are we going to get this functionality in the future for the cloud mwo app, or do you have any workaround for this scenario.

Hi Nethmi,

In cloud , you can either create new work or new requests. The availability of the tile is controlled by app parameter ‘SERVICE_REQUEST_FOR_NEW_WORK’ .  If set to TRUE New Service Request tile and FALSE will enable New Work function.  One of the tiles should be available regardless of assigned work.

Which version are you running?

Hi Uthpala, We are in 21R2 and using Service ENg App. We have now set ‘SERVICE_REQUEST_FOR_NEW_WORK’ app parameter to false and now we can see the new work tile. Thank you very much
