Hi all - I am trying to decipher what I am sure is a fairly common issue with mobile apps.

Our goal is to streamline the user experience, while obviously maintaining security.

We are seeing examples of field operatives having to re-authenticate with the MWO app when we wouldn’t expect them to - e.g. during a normal working day, actively using the app, then finding their session has expired and they need to re login.

Before I dive further into specific details, does anyone have experience of this sort of behaviour and know where we should focus our efforts?

I have raised a case with IFS, but I thought this must be something others have experienced.

Any help is gratefully received.

Hi,

Can you check whether session and token time were set correctly? Hope below documentation will help you.

Hi,

I am also investigating a way to increase the login time and did some testing around IAM client setups. As per the tech. doc. and per my testing, the critical parameter is access token life span. Is there a way to increase this beyond 1 hr ?. Is there anyway to override this value and increase the login time. If someone has experience with actual values please share. Appreciate @SureserveGordy created this post and @Dakshinie Wickramasinghe for the response.

Best Regards,

Roshan
