Hello, I would like to know how best to update an existing QFACT ? We have updated the underlying IAL by adding in fields and we now need to add these fields to the existing QFACT. I thought of : Go into Light items or Measure items of the QFACT (depending whether the field you want to add is text or numeric) and then chose Add New. I cannot see any other area or link that would allow me to add fields. I am not sure if another way exists. Many thanks Sabine

UK Payroll

Morning, We are currently using IFS Payroll in Apps 8 and planning for a potential upgrade to Apps 10 in the next 12-18 months. We understand IFS are stopping support of UK Payroll in Apps 10 in the next few years; so we are now considering our options and the best approach to take. IFS Cloud vs Application 10

Is there a comparison or paper that details added functionality included OOB for IFS Cloud that was not available in EE Apps 10?Realise that IFS may be able to complete a business assessment of current solution and advise what additional CRIMs etc may be required to replicate our current Apps 10 functionality for transitioning to IFS Cloud, but we are not at that point yet.Was hoping there may be a summary released as part of the IFS Cloud release, demos would indicate some good changes and streamlining of processes have been achieved.

IFS 'Remember Password' option remembers old password

IFS has been set to ‘remember password’ for log in for multiple environments. The user is able to log in by updating the field with the correct password, but it doesn't remember the change the next time they log in and they have to re-enter it again. In addition to that when de-selecting ‘Remember Password’ and logging in and back out, it reverts to remember password and goes back to remembering a previous password, not the newest. Has anyone seen this issue? Any idea of some possible fix?

mWO synchronisation error

Hi, One of our customer has recently reported serious problems with mWO synchronisationBelow is a log from one user In details you can see:Initialize data failed: Error when distributing INIT transaction: (ORA-00001: unique constraint (IFSAPP.MOBILE_OUT_MESSAGE_DATA_UIX) violatedORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.MOBILE_TRANSACTION_PUBLISH_SYS", line 2557ORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.MOBILE_TRANSACTION_PUBLISH_SYS", line 656) Same errors have been reported previously - in log we can see the number of occurence in different days From users point of view - they get an error on mobile device and just can’t work After 29.01.2022 seems like backup or restart solved the error but probably only temporarily. What can cause such error? How to diagnose it? Maybe something in configuration is wrong or needs some adjustements? It happens for many users including IFSAPP, not only one user, so it seems like a global problem. Best regards,Hubert

Wrong time in the TAS application

Hi Im having a strange issue in my TAS application, it seems to have an wrong time in the applicationIf i look in the trace log the timestamp is 2 hours after the application server timestamp.Is there any settings to correct this, when i do an counting in the inventory from the Scan IT mobile app i will get an error that its says session corrupted. /Kent

Reporting separate Delivery and Arrival Dates

Good evening, all; I have a client who want takes ownership of material at a foreign port of departure ( FOB term ) . The date they are taking ownership corresponds to the Delivery Date on the PO Line. There is then transit lead time build in while the goods travel from the foreign port to the clients dock to coincide with the Arrival Date on the PO Line. In order to show the ownership of the goods and the end of the Suppliers obligation, the receiving team is performing the Register Arrival on the Delivery Date into an Arrival type location created to hold these inbound parts. In APS10, they are having to enter both the Delivery Date and the Arrival Date during the Register Arrival step. I cannot find where they can edit the Actual Arrival Date to reflect the date the material is physically at the dock. Can some please let me know where that is? Thank you in advance!

Project pre-posting multiple lines

We are creating multi-line purchase requisitions from the Project Demand to Project Supply. We need to pre-post the account on the purchase requisition line. Is there a way to set multiple lines at once? Some of these requisitions have 20-30 lines and setting them one at a time is very tedious.

Recent transactions in Project Transactions page

In IFS Cloud, the page Project Transactions opens with 'Recent transactions’ switched on. As a result, only transactions with a date 30 days before or 30 days after today are fetched.Is there a way to have this options switched off by default? Maybe as part of page configurator? Is there a way to set the number of days that be considered when switched on?

IEE Link Handler

We have been trying to get the IFS IEE Link Handler working since we went to IFS 10 APP 9. We have been using Microsoft Edge (Chromium based) for a couple of years now and have settings configured, but we cannot get the links to work using that exension. As soon as I loaded the ClickOnce for Chrome extension into Microsoft Edge, it worked flawlessly. The only problem with this Extension is that it will not install silently and provides a popup when first launching Edge after the extension is installed. Opening IFS with different browsers

Hi We are using IFS Apps 8, and when using IE browser IFS opens seamlessly, however with browsers like Chrome it will drop the application manifest file Ifs.Fnd.Explorer to the bottom of the screen and the user then needs to click on this to open IFS. Is there a way to use newer browsers such as Chrome but ensure the manifest file isn’t downloaded but users are taken straight to the login page? Any guidance would be appreciated Regards Shaun

Can't Cancel payment order after seeing Check Payment Details popup window

I am creating a new payment proposal for payment method of ‘check’, acknowledging the payment proposal and creating the payment order. I go to the Supplier Payment Orders window and RMB to select create check paymentclick ok in the “Print and Create Check Payment popup windowclick ok in the Check Payment Details popup windowbut as soon as I do, the record is cleared from the Supplier Payment Orders window.The Report Format & Output window appears and I can preview my check before printing but I can’t cancel….the check is already processed. Is this intended functionality. Why can’t I ‘Cancel’? See attached document

Version Field on Installed Item (v14.5)

We are looking into utilizing the version field on an installed item. The information for this field is populated in the Product Center->Replacements->Versions. While we can select this on the installed item, it does not appear to be available on Mobile Customizer so that it can be made visible on Mobile for our Field Service Engineers. Is there a reason for this or a way that this can be added?

Apps 10 - Sending SMS

HiWe are currently in the progress of upgrading from Apps 8 to Apps 10. In Apps 8 we have a customisation which sends the mobile engineers a SMS when a work order is assigned to them via IFS MWOThe solution calls command_sys.send_sms_message() which is obsolete in Apps 10. Is there a workaround to allow this functionality in Apps 10?RegardsShaun

HiI want to configure IFS9 with proxy server to expose b2b/b2e URL to internet.So I created new domain: pp.nazwa.pl with redirection on proxy server to application server(SSL Offloading HTTPS -> Proxy -> HTTP).On proxy trusted certificate was uploaded. Everything works fine beside two our customizations which make connection to outside https URL(https://aaa.pl and https://bbb.pl) and get data.What I did:IFS9 reconfiguration done. IFS - Backbone modules - Conditional compilation

Hi,we are facing with lot of errors with Conditional compilation when using $IF Component_Fisnot_SYS.INSTALLED $THEN NULL;$ENDProgrammers are forgetting to create ELSE branch very often and because is not possible to test it easily (remove that module to test if it works), problems firstly occurs on customer side. Is there some list of “must have” modules in every installation?eg. there is always FNDBAS, ENTERP, … Because for them is unnecessary doing checks.And it means less errors.
