We need to get an understanding on how annual leave allowances calculated in IFS , and what attributes contribute to the annual leave count.

 

It is identified that When UK customer Uses their general Annual Leave Calculation  provided by GOV.UK . This values doesn’t match with the calculation done by IFS . Due to the Customer has to always adjust these with Absence Limit parameters.

This give different results than IFS calculated and want to know how IFS calculates Annual Leave for the Employee

 

Test Steps

1.Employee with Start date 27/06/2023

2.Employee schedule  as show below , Employee work 9.25hours from

 

Monday To Thursday – 8.00AM to 5.15 PM

Friday/Saturday/Sunday – Non Working days

 

 

3.Employee is permanent Employee/Full time

 

4. Annual Leave can be set up as shown Below, precision set to 2 everywhere.

Please note that Calendar type connected(C1)uses Custom Year which  Starts with April first ends in March 31st  . You can consider from Year 2021

 

 

Also Lets look at the Absence Limit definition , how it has been defined

 

 

Once this is done you can come to Absence page and Generate Absence

When this is done , the calculation returned as below for IFS:157.95hrs

But when the GOV.UK calculate this 175.8.
