How to consume non-ifs REST API in IFS 10 UPD19

I am trying to consume third party REST API with Oauth2 client credentials flow. I have done following setup but it is not working. Created procedure to call plsql_rest_sender_API.Call_Rest_EndPoint_Empty_Body2 with all required input parameters with call back function also. Setup routing rule by passing matching condition value as rest_service value which has given in point 1 call and applied OAuth2 client credentials setup. Configured 2 routing address one is REST type and other is PLSQL to read the value which I will get response from REST call. Now I tried to call procedure created in point 1 and it has posted application message also but it goes into 500 error.

Issue with query timeout in 23r2 and oracle session is never terminated

We have an situation where the end-user get an exception that the query used more than 300 seconds. After this the database session goes into wait event SQL*Net Message from client. Then after a while it ends up with wait event PGA Memory operation. Why dosn’t the database session get terminated or an cancel query issued when the client call is terminated? Is it a bug in IFS 23r2 causing this behavior ? Also can anyone explain the difference between this two time outs that are possible to set in the odata pods?

Filed [WAGE HOURS] mandatory for timecard result and requires a value

When there is an ongoing absence in absence window and if you try to amend the absence from date error message "Error message: filed [WAGE HOURS] mandatory for timecard result and requires a value " appear.1. Ongoing absence: Eg 19/3/2024 to 18/4/2024 (assume this is todays' date)2. change absence to date to 25/3/2024 > save 3.Error While doing investigation, it is noted that according to the employee schedule details this period consists of some deviation days and weekend days where timecard cal status is manually, even though those are confirmed and authorized.Eg : day 6, April 2024 (which is a weekend day ) but the timecard shows cal status as manually.So that we suspected this would be one of the reasons for such an error message in the absence window, and if we change the status to "Blocked,". error would not occur in the absence window when you amend the absence to date.Any comments on this?

Default Overtime Wage Code

Hello Community,I am having trouble with wage codes in IFS 10. The requirement is to have the employees work a 4/10 Schedule (10 hours per day, 4 days per week) and any work done on Sunday will be double overtime. There is not a set schedule for Sunday. Is there a way to have any time booked on Sunday to be counted as one wage code without the employees having to select it? The following has been setup:Day Type: Sunday w 2x OTWage Code: 2XOT Whenever I enter a time interval or a clocking the default time is normal time.It would be helpful if Sunday always defaulted to Overtime with wage code 2XOT. Does anyone know how to do this?

PSO Filter needs to be removed/updated

We have the problem at PSO 6.11.011 (it is fixed in later version), where columns was merged together.Previously we solved it by delete the account and create it again - exactly with same credentials. Has done it for 2-3 dispatchers several times.For one of the users, we used the same solution. But as he was the owner of the Filters, he is no longer able to delete old created filters.Can anybody advise what can be done to solve this problem? Can we delete this filter or change the owner of the filter from database? or from the application itself?Please note that I can not find the table which contains this filter details. Can somebody guide here?

Track defective parts removed

project type capitalized expense and update of contribution margin

Hello, I need your help on the following.Some of our project have this type of setupFor each sales invoice,the system is calculating a preliminary cost of sales based on the contribution margin rate.We noticed that if we update the contribution margin the new rate is applying only to next preliminary cost of sales calculated when new invoices are issued and there is no catch up calculation for the previous preliminary cost of sales. Example :Period 1Contribution margin 25%Invoice 1 for 500 000preliminary COS : 375 000 Period 2 :update the contribution margin to 15%Invoice 2 for 400 000preliminary COS : 340 000 YTD situationSales 900 000COS 715 000Margin : 185 000 (20.55%) whereas we are expecting only 135 000 (15%) How to force the recalculation of the preliminary cost of sales generated on previous periods ? Sending a automatic print job from an event

Hello, We’re looking for some ideas how to auto print a report off the back of an event. An example would be, once we have registered an arrival, and a receipt record created, details from the receipt would then triggered and drive the report details though to print. Currently, we have a custom Crystal Report that is accessed via an RMB Custom Menu. But would like to use this report and it be automatically fired, and printed to a local printer to the user. I have read other posts mentioning CR is a little ‘heavy’ for printing labels, but would like to hear what options there are within our current process/setup to automate printing based on certain functional trigger points. 23R1 issue with Exporting quick report via scheduled report

Hello,(We are on 23R1.6 in our environments.) We have a quick report that pulls invoice data, we can export this data from the quick report page, completely fine. We encounter no issues and the excel formatting is perfect. The issue we are encountering though, is when scheduling this report via scheduled reports, and having it emailed to our users, we notice that the method used to export the data onto an excel sheet adds an extra space and a new line character before the field values for all columns/rows. We cannot fix this on our end since these characters are added after the data is pulled from the quick report. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thanks,Bryan

Hyperlinks in custom fields on IFS Cloud

Filtering of Custom Attribut Links is not supported. The $filter is missing when a custom field attribute is used as a link (reference), see attachments.Business Impact: This malfunction treats us to work with two tabs and always copy and paste the desired value in the filter line of the new tab. This is a lot of clicking and the userbilty suffers dramatically. Another way out is to have acustom command that takes over the filter in the jump action. Nevertheless it is hard to explain to the user why cartain (standard) links work well whereas others (ustom) surf to the correct page but without filtering the correct element. When does IFS solve this misbehaviour?Thnak you!

Inventory Tracking

My company switched to IFS April first, we had 30 days to learn the system, so that didn't go so well. So far i don't see where inventory is being tracked, what parts i can see is seems as if everything is classified as very clower mover. Parts aren't separated into ABC class. how would i get the system to start tracking inventory? is there a way i can see all inventory parts and what class they are labeled as?
