Question regarding FTP Transition to Secure File Transfer Protocol (FTPS)

Forum|alt.badge.img+4

 Hi,

there is a post regarding FTP transition to Secure File Transfer Protocol (FTPS).
Since I cannot post my question there, I ask my question here.

  1. Does this change mean only has impact to access IFS file transfer server(ftp://ftpeu.ifsworld.com/[customer-id]?

Or

  1. It has impact to all ftp access from IFS Application, i.e., all ftp-server have secure ftp?
  2. If it applies to no. 2, what is the impact if we cannot provide no.2 by the deadline time (21 June 2021)?

Look forward to your feedback.

~Juni

What’s the answer? I cannot access the link as I don’t have permission. How do I contact the community manager?

Hi Peter - I’ve updated your permissions as a customer, so you should have access now. Please let me know if you don’t!

Are you able to access the link above? This is what was referenced:

  1. Host name:  ftpna.ifsworld.com
  2. Port: 990
  3. Had to set remote directory to our customer ID in the SFTP setup
