Dear all,

I have the following error when authorizing a time dard day “ Unproceed days may not be authorized”

status of the card is Open

User has made 1 normal clock in and out and 1 pending clocking on that day

Thank for your feedback.

Hi Marchelle,

Error is exactly due to the open clocking you have entered. there is an open clocking @7:05, hence you cannot proceed authorizing.

Please do check all the clocking before authorizing the day.

Best regards,

Elmie

Hi Marcelle,

Please check whether the ‘Completed’ check box is selected in the time card day. If the day is not completed application does not allow to authorize and will give the mentioned error message.

The reported time has to be equal to the scheduled time for the employee. I believe if the employee enters the pending clocking for the day, the day would get completed.

Then time card can be authorized.

P.S.

You can use the ‘Work hour rule parameters’ allow employees to complete the day with differences to the schedule time.

Hope this would help.

Thank You.

Hello Shalk,

Thanks for your prompt feedback.

It is true the “completed” checkbox is not checked.

However, the resource has done clocking as follow

1: IN 7 AM - OUT 19PM

2: IN 7:5 AM

I guess the error is due to the incomplete clocking happening on the same day.

Is that right?

Hi Marcelle,

I believe it has to be the issue.

Please check if it is possible to correctly record the clocking and see if it the day get completed.

Thanks,

Shehan Almeida.

Hello,

Thank you all for your support!

@shallk & @Elmie Gamhewa  you were on a certain point right!

Below is a resume the point :

  1. User got an error when he wants to Close a Task
  2. Error Message :” Can not close task due to Open Clocking”
  3. Reason (after troubleshooting) : Syncing issue between Mobile WO & IFS

We are using IFS APPS10 Upd 4!

Syncing issue will be fixed soon with migration to Updt 7

Thank you!
