The solution for the Norwegian SAF-T report is ready in IFS App9 Update 15 and IFS App10 Update 5. If you need help with the setup you will need to register a service case as there is no setup guide published for customer use.

Do you know if there is any general pre-requisites for getting out a correct SAF-T file connected to how entries are done in the Finance modules.
For example, we were told in Poland, that to get out proper Polish SAF-T files, we should not use manual voucher for VAT related transactions.
Then we were told to use mixt payment instead.
Would just be good to know if there is any general pre-requisites around the SAF-T files in Norway.

Does anyone know if the set up has to be done before 1 January effecting all entries being done in finance or if the set up can be done whenever there is a request to provide a file.
I guess that the set up can be done when needed, It would be strange if the set up has to be in place before anyone request to provide a file.

Sorry, I am not into the details for Poland.
You don’t have to setup the SAF-T for Norway before the year end. The SAF-T is just a report that fetches data that exists in the system.

It is worth to note that SAF-T Norway and SAF-T Poland solutions are not same. You can setup SAF-T Norway solution in standard Core application. But, SAF-T Poland solution is available in Poland localization/Global Extension with different setup.
