Distribution Order Planned Receipt Date Same as Customer Order Planned Delivery Date

Forum|alt.badge.img+4

Hello,

I have a client that has a distribution order with the same “Planned Receipt Date” as the customer order “Planned Delivery Date”.

They want a one-day buffer between them. We have changed dates in the Supply Chain Matrix, lead times, safety lead times, etc. and still the dates are the same. I did not think this was standard functionality.

Am I missing something?

Thank you.

Unfortunately, the Internal Inspection Lead Time on the Supplier for Purchase Part, requires an inspection case including an inspection. So, you could never Receive into Inventory or Receive into Arrival. Also, the picking lead time does not change the Planned Receipt Date.

The Planned Receipt Date seems to be an anchor that cannot be changed.

After a ton of testing, using the Internal Transport Lead Time will give me a buffer but it will be other dates, not the Planned Receipt Date.

Hello,

Sorry I’m not running cloud yet, but I hope the options are at the same place.

In supplier for purchase part under tab inspection you can add inspection leadtime in days, this is one way of adding a buffer day. Buffer day will be added as part of purchase order.

Another way is to add picking lead time which you do from site window under inventory/general. This will add buffer day to your planned due date on customer order line.
