IFS Cloud - Can you filter a search to include a date field with no value?

Forum|alt.badge.img+10

Hello All,

I’m in work tasks view and wanted to filter out tasks that had an actual finish date but this does not seem to be an option, you select from more the actual finish date field and I can only select a date range.

My first query was to look at the work task status, selected New- Under Preparation - Prepared - Released - Work Started, and because the work step has been completed an actual finish date has been created but the status of the work task is still in work started or released. How can I filter these out of the view?

Thanks in advance for help given, Sarah

Hi @sholmes

Click on the little question mark and then you can get to the other filtering options ;)

Hope it helps!

@dsj unfortunately for a date field you don’t get those options - see below - we have just moved to 24R2 - what version are you on?

I was checking in 24R1 and the options were there.

Just checked an 24R2 environment and seems you are correct. Other options are not there. Probably this is a bug in 24R2. Please report to IFS support go get a firm answer on that.

Even though you can’t see the options, it looks like you can still use them

Use <> to search the records which doesn’t have a value in Actual Finish

Cheers!

Damith

Also tested the “<>” response. It does work. 24.1
