When 2 separate employees are trying to report to a same shop order operation from Shop Floor Workbench at the same time, one employee is getting the below error.
There can be situations where more than one employee will be working on the same shop order operation at the same time. Therefore, it seems that this error is not quite that much valid.
Is there any way we can avoid this error, and allow more than one employees to report the same shop order operation at the same time ?
It’s absolutely allowed for several employees to clock on the same order simultaneously. So system will allow to have overlapping labor clockings for the same operation given that the employees are different. but remember system does not allow to have overlapping machine clockings. If you want to run an operation on multiple machines you must instead split the operation.
So double check that you report in employee mode and are not trying to start multiple machine clockings at the same time.
