Please note that you cannot manually edit the option “Automatically indude Mx Event” when creating the maintenance order.
Automatically Include Mx Event:
If this check box is selected, maintenance events are included automatically on the maintenance order if an event for the same serial has been manually selected. You may modify the value of this field as long as the maintenance order status is New, Initial Scope Definition or Under Preparation. If the maintenance order status is Released or Started, you are allowed to turn off (unselect) this option in order to manually include pending events marked as "Automatically Include Mx Event".
Below is an example on how it works.
1. Open the New Maintenance Order assistant. Create an order for TH-TOP1, serial 14.
2. Make sure to select the "Automatically Include Mx Event" option in step 1.
3. Assign a pending event for part, which has more pending events with the "Automatically Include Mx Event" option selected in step 2. It is not needed to select the event with “Automatically Include Mx Event" ticked.
4. When you assign the event, you will get a notification that additional events are also added. This means the automatic include events are added.
5. Now when you create the maintenance order, the selected event and the automatic event, both will be included.
I hope this explains the usage of the mentioned toggle button.
However, I think the next question will be, how to create events marked as "Automatically Include Mx Event". Please find below steps.
How to create events marked as "Automatically Include Mx Event".
- Create a modification.
- In the Assign parts tab, enter your part and make sure to select “Next visit in workshop”.
- Then enter the other required details and activate the modification.

Once this check box is selected, the following happens.
A pending maintenance event is created automatically for the assigned serial.
The due date of the pending maintenance event will automatically set to the date when the modification is activated.
When a maintenance order is planned, the pending modification maintenance event task is automatically included to the maintenance order when another maintenance event, regardless of maintenance event type, is assigned distributed for the serial, and the maintenance order is set up to automatically include maintenance events.

- Now when you try to create a new maintenance order for the assigned part, an automatic include event will be listed in the pending events.

+42.According to your answer, only events generated in definition modifications may be automatically assigned to the MO？
That said, Automatically Include Mx Event “yes” can only be created by a definition change, not manually change.
+43.One other query, when you create the MO, you select Work Order and Execution Logic Structure in the Assignment Type, it's just that the business scenarios are different, right? I understand that the Execution Logic Structure is for unscheduled work, but there is no difference in the work orders generated by both of them

Question 1:
It is because, you have defined task cards for initial inspection, but you haven’t actually defined an initial inspection here. So either you can add initial inspection, or you can click ok and proceed.
Question 2:
Yes they cannot be manually changed.
Question 3:
Distribution types:
When the maintenance order is distributed with the Simplified Work Order distribution type, all events connected to the maintenance order will be handled within IFS/Fleet and Asset Management. When the Work Order distribution type is used, all events connected to the order will be created as work orders in IFS/Work Order Management and must be processed there. Task cards and subtasks included on the events will be created as work tasks, and connected resources, material, sign off requirements etc will be transferred to these work tasks. When the Execution Logic Structure distribution type is used, a work order structure will be created in IFS/Work Order Management based on the execution logic structure (ELS) for the maintenance order.
Since these are separate issues, appreciate if the questions can be kept separated (individual community post for separate topics) so that it is easy for everyone to follow up with and it is easy to provide more detailed answers for each question.

Regarding auto-assignment of events, only events generated by definition modifications can be auto-assigned. Other operations such as (Serial Repair, Manual Event) are not auto-assigned, which doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. I don't know why IFS designed it this way.
In this case, auto-assignment still needs to be customized
