PSO/MSO - Obstructive Work Task not considered in MSO

Forum|alt.badge.img+18

Hi There,

Could someone please help me with this issue. I have created a obstructive maintenance work which can be clearly seen in the both visual shop order operation planning as well as smart manufacturing planning board. This obstructive work is overloading the work center on which the operations are already planned. So, now as per MSO functionality, the operations need to reschedule for the other days where work center is available but this is not happening after finite scheduling and operations are getting loaded on the days of maintenance work.

Also attached the MSO load file for further reference.

Hi All,

I haven't mention the planned duration in the work task, instead I had only entered planned start date and finish date. After entering the duration on the work task, the obstructive works are considered in MSO.

Hi,

I encountered the same issue, but I think I did the right things (apparently I forgot something somehwere...). Can you help me point out what I have missed?

Cheers,
Stephan

I created the Object, connected it to the Work Center:

Then I created a Work Task, with Planned Start/End dates and Duration, connected to this Object ID (of the Work Center). Status Released.

I scheduled the Shop Orders, but I don't see the blocking task in my overview… What am I missing?

Hi @StephanS ,

Please make sure that your work task is obstructive. This can be indicated against the operational statuses which you can add it to work task under object information
