In IFS APPS 10 V8, we are trying to add an external line to the planning tab of the Prepare Work Order screen. We are able to add the line and save. When we right click on the line and choose Report Manual Transaction we enter the Quantity, the cost and possibly the cost category. We receive an error message that Manual External Reporting is not allowed. How do we enable this?

Can you kindly try the following and let me know whether the issue is solved ?
Steps:
Open Application Base Setup\System Setup\System Definitions.
In System Definitions -> Object Property search for property name 'MANUAL_EXPENSE'. This may ne defined as 'NO BOOKINGS'. This needs to be set to 'BOOKING' if manual reporting is needed.

I changed system parameters as you have mentioned here. But I am still getting the error.

Please check “MANUAL_EXTERNAL” property as well. Property value should be “BOOKING”.
