Hi Experts,

I appreciate for your input on following issue.

The Customer has a central site named “UK300” which is always the WO Site and does not hold stock. Stock will be held on sites “UK172”.

  1. Mobile user is connected to Parts in Site UK172. Warehouse and Assortments parts connected to the same Site.
  2. Work order is created for site UK300. (WO and object connected tosite UK300)
  3. When a Task is dispatched, the Technitian can see all task details and his stock in Mobile.

  1. Even he can see Material orders connected to Site UK172 created from back office.

Problem is, user cannot see his stock in “Material Quick Issue” list in the mobile? This was possible in App9 but in app10 it isnt?

What could be the reason here, what is missing in this setup?

Thank you,

KM

The mobile client is a simplified execution client that does not offer all the capabilities available in IEE/Aurena. One of the limitations is that the Material Requisition line added in mobile is always created in the Task site a user simply doesn’t have a choice of sites while adding new material. The same limitation applies to Quick Issue. The Quick Issue is in fact not a standalone functionality, but user-friendly way of creating and then issuing material requisition line. The underlying procedures are the same as if you do the steps manually and so, as it is not possible to create a new material line for site different to the Task site, it is also not possible to do that through Quick Issue.

Thanks for the explanation @Thamindu Devinka However, when we tested the same requirement with the MWO RTM app it works regardless of the WO site. However, we cannot use that as the customer has configured workflows. The customer has been using this quick issue feature in APPs 9 MWO as well. What would be the reason for discontinuing a feature which was available on APPs 9 in APPs 10 MWO Service 10? Also, what alternatives do we have?

This was fixed by IFS R&D with the Patch 165600.
