On Inventory Part I have this recurring issue where I add “Inventory Part” to the search options, and it persists while by browser window is open, but whenever do a full reset / refresh it goes away

Is there an additional step that I need to take to persist this or is this a bug?

I tried resetting the fields, and then it was site, inventory part, Accounting Group.   I added inventory part description and then on reload inventory part was missing again

I think the following topic could be related: personal prodile setting lost repeatedly

Hi @brianvp ,

Seems like this has been corrected in one of the upper versions of the IFS Cloud 22.2. There are some saved search issues also been corrected for cloud versions. I have checked this in our latest core  (22.2.16) and now the selected default fields do not disappear even when we navigate away/logout window/application.

Hi @Nikila Dis,

we have the same issue with the “Time Card” page.

Whenever search fields are added or removed, the settings remain in effect only as long as the browser stays open. After a refresh or re-login, the settings are reset. Is this behavior known? Can this also be checked?

Thanks for your feedback

Hi @MWMJEHPE,

A similar behavior is observed in both the 23R2 and 24R2 environments for the "Time Card" window.

Hi @Nikila Dis,

does this confirm that the issue is known and is being worked on?

Hi @MWMJEHPE,

I have tested the same functionality for both the Inventory Part and Time Card windows. It works correctly in the Inventory Part window but is not functioning as expected in the Time Card window. It seems the fix has been limited to the previous reported window. My suggestion is to raise a support case regarding the issue with the Time Card window. If the problem is related to the framework, R&D will provide a general fix. If the issue is specific to the Time Card window (considering performance concerns), they will either provide a fix or a functional explanation.
