Hi USLA,

If you go and check the document revision in the error message you can see under tab ‘Title’, Object Required is set to ‘Required’ which must be the reason for the error.

You should be getting this setting from the default values in the document classes relevant to the transmittal. i.e: OBJ_CONN_REQ set to ‘Y’.

So if you can change this value to N under ‘Document Class Management’ this error might not appear. Kindly check.

Yasanthi

One extra comment, because maybe the setting is correct.

In that case you need to attach the document revision at least o one LU (window) in IFS.

In some case it needed to attach a document to a window in IFS, becuase it will be easier to find it back.

For example a service report, that need to be attachjed to a Work Order. Or I can also imagine that a drawing needs to be attached to an engineering part.

@Yasanthi Gunawardena Is this mean these kind of documents do not need object connection at all?

Hi @USLA,

You can connect objects even though you have removed that setting in the class level. Same behavior was observed in the latest IFSAPP10, so as per Robert’s reply maybe the setting is correct, this can be a bug in the system where you can raise a support case to verify.

Yasanthi
